TRADITIONS CONTINUE AT THIRD ANNUAL CELEBRATE OSUNA EVENT
Rancho Santa Fe, California – The Rancho Santa Fe Association is hosting the third annual Celebrate Osuna on Saturday, June 9, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Osuna Ranch, 16332 Via de Santa Fe. Association members and their guests are invited to step back in time to enjoy the ranch and its nearly 200-year old adobe, one of California’s oldest adobe homes. Celebrate Osuna is a fun and educational event that showcases the history of Osuna Ranch, which dates back to the 1830s.
Tours of the 185-year-old adobe home will be offered. Activities include live music, equestrian demonstrations, pony rides, a petting zoo and crafts such as adobe brick making. Members may also enjoy Santa Maria Style BBQ, fresh churros and local refreshments. The event is a collaborative effort co-sponsored by the Osuna Committee and Rancho Santa Fe Historical Society. The Osuna Committee, formed to preserve and enhance the ranch and adobe, supports this vibrant community landmark for Association members. The Historical Society will outfit one of the adobe rooms in traditional period furnishings and provide tours of the property.
