RSF School District Selects Finalist for Superintendent

Following a nationwide search to replace RSF School District Superintendent Lindy Delaney, the field has been narrowed to one finalist. Torrey Pines High School Principal, David Jaffe has been selected to replace Delaney pending contract negotiations.

The Rancho Santa Fe Review reports:

"Jaffe is currently serving as the Principal of Torrey Pines High School with the San Dieguito Union High School District. Jaffe has over 20 years of experience in education.

Jaffe has been a teacher and administrator, holding many positions in the SDUHSD. Some of those positions include Assistant Principal at Diegueno Middle School and La Costa Canyon High School, the founding principal of Canyon Crest Academy, and Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction...

The Rancho Santa Fe School District Governing Board is looking forward to a successful transition of leadership between Delaney and Jaffe. The board extended Delaney’s contract through July 31, 2016 and is finalizing a formal transition plan."
