The RSF School District Board has selected a search firm to help fill the superintendent position by Lindy Delaney, who is retiring in July.

The RSF Review reports:

"At the March 10 RSF School District board meeting, the board voted unanimously to hire the search firm of Leadership Associates, led by former SDUHSD Superintendent Peggy Lynch.

'I think she will work well with our community,' Delaney said of Lynch, who was superintendent of SDUHSD from 2001 to 2008.

'Having served the San Dieguito Union High School District for nearly seven years, I am familiar with the quality of the Rancho Santa Fe School District and am committed to assisting you in this very important decision,' Lynch wrote in her response to the district’s request for proposals...

Lynch wrote that she aims to help find a candidate that matches the ideals of the district which include strong academics; multiple opportunities for students from visual and performing arts; athletics and robotics; outstanding parent and community support; a tradition of stability and history; and students who are prepared for high school and beyond."
