RSF Art Guild Announces 2016 Board of Directors and Extends Membership Invite to Local Artists

Formed in 1993, the Rancho Santa Fe Art Guild continues to carry out its tradition of supporting and encouraging artists in the RSF community and beyond. This month, the guild voted in its 2016 Board of Directors.

The RSF Review reports that the new RSF Art Guild Board of Directors are as follows:

Ruth Evans, president; Margot Wallace, vice president/membership; Carole Dowling, secretary; Eric Wolf, treasurer; Cindy Klong, publicity/webmaster; Sandi Edwards, parliamentarian.

A majority of the Guild’s membership are residents of Rancho Santa Fe and they work to promote art education through fundraising efforts for art scholarships, school programs, teaching, and various community awareness events. Membership applications are available on the RSF Art Guild’s website.

From the RSF Review:

“The Rancho Santa Fe Art Guild would like to invite artists in the area to apply for membership or sponsorship. The Guild exhibits original art created by local artists for display with receptions held at the RSF Senior Center. Artists are invited to join and display their art with a nominal membership fee and a little volunteer time. Working together with other artists offers camaraderie with artists to paint together, critique together, share ideas, learn and grow. The RSF Art Guild accepts oil, acrylic, watercolor and photography.”
