Don't Miss Out On These Upcoming Holiday Festivities In The Ranch

Holiday season in the Ranch is in full swing and this weekend will kick off a series of holiday festivities for the whole family. Below are a couple upcoming events for community members to get into the holiday spirit.

2nd Annual Olde Fashioned Christmas

The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe will begin the celebrations this Friday, December 4 at 5pm with the 2nd Annual Olde Fashioned Christmas. Families can enjoy ice skating, R. Roger Rowe carolers, hot cocoa, and s’mores. Santa will also be available for pictures.

Lastly, everyone can participate and vote for their favorite soup in the Soup Challenge provided by Morada, Mille Fleurs Restaurant, Chef Casey Thompson, and Bentley’s Steak & Chop House. Proceeds from the ice-skating rink will benefit Father Joe’s Villages.

Holiday Marketplace In The Village

This Saturday, December 5, the Village Vibrancy Committee is hosting an afternoon of holiday food and beverage, festive music, and a shopper’s village on the Village Green.

The Holiday Marketplace event will feature about 20 curated artisans selling handmade goods, jewelry, specialty foods, and more. Children can participate in ornament decorating and a holiday story time with the Grinch at 4:45pm.

Back by popular demand, Grater Grilled Cheese will return to the Village this Saturday. Attendees are also encouraged to stop by all participating merchants to get your punch card stamped to enter to win a drawing on the Village Green.

Helen Woodward’s Frosty Farm

The Helen Woodward Animal Shelter’s Frosty Farm will take place on December 5-6 and December 12-13 from 9am-1pm.

Guests can participate in cookie decorating, face painting, and crafts. Santa and his 'polar dog' will be available for pictures. There will also be a hot chocolate station and faux snow! Parents and children will be able to see alpacas, chinchillas, doves, sheep, chickens, and the miniature horse 'reindeer.'

Rock ‘N Roll Holiday Party

On the night of December 5, the RSF Tennis Club is hosting a Rock ‘N Roll themed Holiday Party beginning at 6pm. This Saturday’s event is adults only and free to members and $25 for guests. Please RSVP to, call 858-756-4459, or stop by the Club and let the front desk know.
