Rancho Santa Fe- The June 4th Rancho Santa Fe Board of Directors meeting was expecting such a large audience that the meeting was moved across the street to the Garden Club. The crowd of 80 came to the meeting to voice their opinions and concerns about the Roundabout vs. Signalization debate and the proposed changes to the Village Market properties.
The Rancho Santa Fe Association’s annual meeting was held at the Garden Club on May 14th. Members who attended were given a recap of Association business from 2014, as well as brief presentations from candidates for the Rancho Santa Fe Association Board of Directors.
Last year our campaign promised to bring transparency and inclusiveness to the Rancho Santa Fe Board. This message resonated with a large number of RSF residents and we are humbled to have the opportunity to turn the message into action.
That is exactly the question we would like to put before the entire Association membership – once they have seen and heard both sides of the Rancho Librado story.
A high-density housing project is proposed for the approximate 28 acre site located on the north-east corner of Calzada del Bosque and Via de la Valle. The Mabee “Rancho Liberado” project, consisting of approximately 55 units, is being marked as “step-down housing.” That is not what it is!
