In an interview with the Rancho Santa Fe Review, Association Board president, Philip Wilkinson addressed questions that followed from Covenant documents published by Rancho Santa Fe Association News. Documents include the Association Board minutes from 2006 detailing an apparent discrepancy between the date that Association members were notified of the intent to purchase the Osuna Ranch and the day the deed was signed – almost a month earlier.
The Osuna Ranch (pictured above) was sold to the Association in 2006 for $12 million after being purchased 2 years earlier by Rancho Osuna LLC for $8.75 million.
Wilkinson responded in an interview with the Rancho Santa Fe Review by saying, “It’s doubtful the Association saw the executed grant deed until the Association received it after the closing.”
