5 Ways to Celebrate Halloween Around Rancho Santa Fe in 2016

Pumpkins are on doorsteps and candy cupboards are overflowing, which can mean only one thing: Halloween is coming to Rancho Santa Fe. Ghouls and goblins of all ages are gearing up for this year's frightful night. Meanwhile several events are coming up for RSF residents to enjoy.

If you're looking for your fill of spooky fun, here are 5 ways to celebrate Halloween around the Ranch this year:


Del Mar Pumpkin Station

Ends October 31

Shamble over to the Del Mar Pumpkin Station for a fully stocked pumpkin patch complete with inflatable slides, carousel, and petting zoo. Located at 15555 Jimmy Durante Blvd. Del Mar, CA 92014, the Pumpkin Station is open until October 31st. 


Howl-O-Ween Yappy Hour

October 27

Hop on your broomstick and fly down to the RSF Golf Club for this year's "Howl-O-Ween" Yappy Hour from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on October 27. There will be a costume contest for all dogs and a complimentary wine tasting with Coomber Family Wines. Call (858) 756-1182 to RSVP. $25 per person. 


Halloween in the Village

October 27

Lumber through the Village on October 27 for a trifecta of terror. This year "Halloween in the Village" includes pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, and a haunted house at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe.

Pumpkin carving and trick-or-treating will last from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The Haunted House is open from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday and Friday.


Freak-Inn Show

October 27 - 28

Creep by the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe on October 27 or 28 for the "Freak-Inn Show" on the Croquet lawn from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. For those who have scared up an appetite, a Fall Carnival Buffet will be served on October 28 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM as well. Tickets for the Carnival Buffet are available here.

Howl-O-Ween Harvest Family Day

October 30

Slither by the Helen Woodward Animal Center on October 30 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM to visit with creepy crawlers of all shapes and sizes. This Halloween celebration is complete with trick-or-treating, face painting, crafts and pumpkin picking. 

Harvest Day includes animal interactions and a mystery mansion group exploration.
