Upcoming Summer Events You Don't Want to Miss

It is officially summer in the Ranch and there are a few upcoming events at local spots in RSF that you do not want to miss.

First up on June 29, The Country Friends is holding a Race Day Fashion Show & Luncheon at Mille Fleurs restaurant. Doors open at 11:00am with boutique shopping. The luncheon and fashion show begin at 12:00pm. Tickets are $75 per person and proceeds go toward benefiting the multiple human care agencies that The Country Friends supports. The Rancho Santa Fe Tennis Club is hosting its Family Sunset Soirée on Friday, July 1 at the RSF Tennis Club from 4:30pm-8:30pm. Everyone of all ages is welcome to attend. The event is free for Tennis Club members and $10 per guest.

This Sunset Soirée kicks off at 4:30pm with an adult mixer (mixed doubles) and a kids clinic and tennis games. There will be a Potluck BBQ dinner from 6pm-7:30pm followed by a movie at sunset. Players are encouraged to bring something to contribute to the potluck as the mixers, movie, wine, beer, and softdrinks will be supplied by the Tennis Club. On Saturday, July 2 at 6:30pm, the Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club is hosting a Grease Sing-A-Long. All residents are welcome to attend and dress up in their best 50’s attire to watch the movie and participate in the Costume Contest. Food and beverage will be available for purchase. Costume contest starts at 7:30pm and the movie begins at 8pm. Please call 858-756-1182 to RSVP.

Rounding out the 4th-of-July weekend is the 35th Annual 4th-of-July parade. The parade line forms at 12:15pm in the R. Roger Rowe School Gymnasium Parking Lot. And, the parade begins at 1:00pm on Avenida de Acacias and La Granada.

Last up, and a few weeks away, is the Hats, Heels, & Hooves Opening Day Party at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. On July 15, at 5pm, the Inn will transform into an authentic Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm with food, spirits, and live entertainment from Sure Fire Soul Assemble and DJ Scotto. Residents can purchase tickets here.
