The 23rd annual Rancho Days celebration kicks off this Saturday and continues through October 9. This year there are nine days of events planned by local non-profit organizations. From shopping and shows to food and other festivities, there will be activities for the entire family.

Saturday, October 1

10:00am-4:00pm
Book Cellar, Consignment Shop & The Upscale Resale Shoppe Half Price Sale

Books, decor, clothing, and more will all be half price! The RSF Book Cellar, The Country Friends, and The Upscale Resale Shoppe are holding a half-price sale for Rancho Days. 

5:30pm-9:30pm
Kids Night Out

The Rancho Santa Fe Community Center will host Kids Night Out. Kids attending kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to enjoy a night of crafts, pizza, and fun while parents get to know their neighbors. This childcare event is a great resource for parents who are hosting or attending a Neighbor Night gathering. Relax and let your child have a night of organized fun. Neighbor Night

Come together with neighbors new and old! At Neighbor Night, you are invited to enjoy food, drinks, and friends at gatherings hosted in homes throughout the Covenant. Neighbor night hosts can contact the RSF Association for additional details.

Osuna Ranch Pony Rides

Enjoy a fun day of pony rides and a petting zoo where you can meet bunnies, a pot-bellied pig, chicks, a mini goat, and a mini horse! This free family event is sponsored by the Osuna Committee.

Village Church Concert

Local singer/songwriter Steven Ybarra will perform live at the Village Church Patio on Sunday. The Village Church is celebrating 60 years of serving the community by bringing you a night of great music and amazing food. There will be a BBQ buffet, a petting zoo, photo booth, and kids activities. Food is $10/adults, $5/kids (ages 6-12), and free for children 5 and younger. RSF Inn Wine Tasting

The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe will host a complimentary wine tasting on Monday from 5pm to 7pm. Connoisseurs can choose from a selection of unique wineries and enjoy light appetizers with friends.

Petals & Prose

Enjoy a unique evening of literature, floral arrangements, wine & refreshments. Sign up now to participate in Petals & Prose. Share your favorite book* paired with a beautiful floral arrangement** (designed and provided by you). Work with your best friend, mother, father, gardener, aunt, tutor – anyone who understands your vision! Each design participant will receive a “Swag Bag” with the 'Best of Rancho Santa Fe' as a thank you for being part of the Rancho Days celebration. Wine and Appetizers provided. The RSF Bake-Off will follow immediately after the event. Sign-ups for floral designs required in advance. Please sign up at The Library Desk or email rsflibraryguild@gmail.com. There will be no judging – just a community of sharing!
*Book = any kind of words – essay, poem, manual, sheet music, audio book, etc.
**Floral Arrangement = can be flowers, vegetables or plants: fresh, dried, silk, paper, painted, or clay! Props and a back-drop can be fun, but are not required.

Cookies & Bar Bake-Off

New this year to Rancho Days is the Rancho Santa Fe Library’s first Cookies and Bars Bake-Off! Sign up to participate at the adult or children's desks at the library!

Wednesday, October 5

Taco Fest

Celebrate Rancho Days with freshly grilled tacos at a lively fiesta hosted by the RSF Association. Meet at the Association patio for beef and chicken tacos, with rice, beans and fresh guacamole.

SFID Live Water Smart

Stop by the Santa Fe Irrigation District booth to learn how you can live Water Smart in your Rancho Santa Fe home.

With the current drought it is more important than ever to learn how you can save water on a daily basis. Get useful tips, find out about conservation rebates and incentives, and check out their free giveaways. The booth will be setup just outside of the RSF Association office during the RSFA Taco Fest.

Dessert with The Country Friends

Gather with neighbors at the beautiful outdoor patio of The Country Friends for delicious desserts and refreshments. Visit with friends and shop at the consignment store at this event sponsored by The Country Friends.

Enjoy a fresh, hot breakfast at the Thyme Together food truck, sponsored by the RSF Foundation. Thyme Together is a charitable food truck which crafts fresh, hot, made-to-order meals for North County seniors. Relax while Thyme Together cooks a delicious breakfast for you and your family. RSF Golf Community Harvest Celebration

Meet your friends and neighbors at the Golf Club for the Community Harvest Celebration. This fun family-friendly event will include Hayrides to a Secret Pumpkin Patch, Pumpkin Decorating, Face Painting, Bobbing for Apples, Sack Races, Free Spirit the Clown, along with Food & Beverages available for purchase.

Strings in the Garden

Stop by the RSF Senior Center for a pleasant afternoon at Strings in the Garden. Meet your friends and neighbors, enjoy delicious goodies, and relax in the beautiful garden.

Historical Society Fandango

The Historical Society invites you to enjoy an evening of fresh Mexican food, margaritas, live music, games, and activities for the kids and more. Music is by Alias (aka Calico Ridge), a versatile dance band. Guillermo’s Tacos is back and will again provide three types of tacos, roasted vegetables, beans and rice, and other tasty specialties. Riding Club Trail Ride & Lunch

Meet at the Rancho Riding Club grounds for its annual Trail Ride. The 1½ to 2-hour ride will be followed by a lunch of wood-fired pizzas and salad, courtesy of the Riding Club and RSF Association Trails & Recreation Committee. Families and guests are welcome to join riders for lunch. (Please note: Riders must provide their own horse; no rentals will be available.) The event is free but please RSVP by September 30 to slr1862@sbcglobal.net.

Trail Walk & Lunch

Grab your hiking shoes and join us for a Trail Walk with the RSF Association Trails & Recreation Committee. After a picturesque hike through the Ranch's beautiful trail system, we will end at the Rancho Riding Club for wood-fired pizza and salad. The hike coincides with the Rancho Riding Club’s Trail Ride. Hikers will park and meet at the RSF Athletic Field, 16826 Rambla De Las Flores, just south of the Rancho Riding Club. No reservation is required. This event is sponsored by the Trails and Recreation Committee.

Farm-To-Table Dinner

Celebrate Rancho Days with a delicious family-style meal of locally sourced food prepared by Eco Catering. The evening includes live music, a silent auction, and an olive oil and tequila tasting with your friends and neighbors. Proceeds benefit the RSF Garden Club and the Osuna Adobe Restoration Fund.

Fire Annual Pancake Breakfast

Come enjoy a pancake breakfast served up by your local firefighters! The RSF Professional Firefighters Association and RSF Fire Protection District are hosting their annual Pancake Breakfast at RSF Fire Station 1, 16936 El Fuego. The open house will include station tours, photos with firefighters, fire engine and ambulance displays, fire hose spraying, hands-only CPR demonstration and more.
